The Self Love Club was born from my own journey, through darkness, self-doubt, anxiety, addiction, and the long road back to myself. I created this space for the version of me who felt lost, alone, and desperate for connection, acceptance ,guidance, and gentle reminders that healing is possible.

Here, we believe in the power of movement, nourishing food, honest conversations, and routines that support your mind, body, and soul. Pilates is an art form and Lexi is the Master! Her classes are a holistic experience and I encourage everyone to kickstart their pilates journey with her. METHODOLOGY

I grew up an athlete - competitive, disciplined, and driven.

From swimming lanes to the kitchen as a chef, I was always chasing the next achievement, the next win, the next version of “better.” I knew how to push hard, but I didn’t know how to slow down, listen to my body, or honour my emotions.

Eventually, the pressure, perfectionism, and pain caught up with me.

Mentally, emotionally, and physically…I broke.

That breaking point became the turning point.

Through years of unlearning, healing, and rebuilding I discovered a new way to move, live, and lead. One that’s rooted in respect, strength, and self-love.

As a certified Personal Trainer, Pilates Instructor, Yoga Teacher, and Sports Nutrition Coach, my method blends the structure of athletic performance with the softness of healing. I’ve done the intense bootcamps, the restrictive diets, the all-or-nothing mindsets  and I’ve learned what actually works if you want long-term, sustainable wellness that feels good.

I’m also certified in Mental Health First Aid, because supporting your body without holding space for your mind and nervous system just isn’t enough. My approach is trauma-aware, compassion-led, and results-backed.

My Story

For most of my life, I was at war with myself.

I looked put-together on the outside - competitive swimmer, chef, fitness girl. But inside, I was battling anxiety, depression, disordered eating, toxic habits, and the belief that I had to earn love by being perfect. I turned to alcohol, control, and chaos to numb the pain I didn’t know how to name. I felt alone, misunderstood, and exhausted from trying to be “enough.”

The truth is: I didn’t need fixing. I needed healing.

My turning point wasn’t glamorous, it was dark and scary. It was messy and human - crying on the kitchen floor, learning to ask for help, walking away from what wasn’t serving me, and choosing, over and over again,  to do the deeper work. Through therapy, sobriety, movement, real whole food, and a partner who reminded me I was worthy as I am, I began to find my way home to myself. But as a friendly reminder, I am still on this journey everyday, I don’t have everything figured out, but I am doing better than I was and that has to count for something. My goal is just to be 1% better everyday.

The Self Love Club was born from that journey. From the rock bottoms, the rising, and the radical decision to build a life rooted in self-respect, softness, and strength.
